Equipped with a natural understanding of all that makes the Gulf Coast a beautiful place to live, John Ludden discovered real estate as a method of helping people while experiencing the unique architecture and design that defines the region. His roots harken back to Nottinghamshire, England, but as a Southwest Floridian for over a quarter of a century, he has become a staple of the Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and Naples communities and is known for his dynamic business acumen that blends compassion, practicality, professionalism, and creativity.
Born to Irish parents, John is the youngest of seven children and had a strong work ethic as well as a fondness for one’s neighbor ingrained into his core from the beginning. John graduated from All Hallows Institute in Dublin, Ireland, with a double major in philosophy and theology. He also holds a diploma in business. Upon arrival at the Sunshine State in 1996, he embarked on a personal mission to enrich the lives within his local community by working for the Diocese of Venice in various management and administrative roles. In that time, he lived up and down the coast – including Sarasota, Marco Island, Port Charlotte, and Naples – spearheading capital fundraising and building projects. Additionally, he held trustee positions at a university, an institute of higher education and a major pension fund. As a mission director, John organized and led teams to bring relief to low-income individuals locally and globally.
Since John has joined Michael Saunders & Company, he has used his skills to successfully obtain and sell luxury homes in our area. Whether listing a luxury home or a humble home, he strives to give equal attention to all his customers. He has also been named as one of the top associates for several years. In combining passion and innate strategic thinking, John positions buyers and sellers to not only achieve their goals, but to fall in love with the neighborhoods and lifestyles they choose. Now living in the historic district of Punta Gorda, he remains active in the community while also taking the time to enjoy the scenic vistas that grace Charlotte Harbor.
